This video was sent through and we thought it worth showing, it highlights the problems with knife crime in Scotland and the impact it has on lives. They’ve done it BLU-style, and it’s not a half bad job we reckon. We’ve had first hand experience with knives so it struck a chord…
It’s a knife crime animation about a group of Scottish teenagers and the consequences of knife crime. Read more about the campaign on the No Knives Better Lives website.

Speedy Graphito, real name Olivier Rizzo, is an urban artist born in Paris in 1961, part of the 80s stencil scene. He began painting in the street in 1983.
He started as a designer, meeting “Cap’n Fluo” (a photographer) on the way, with whom he created the group “X-Moulinex.
The following year the group finished, and Olivier started making stencils again. The signature is no longer
“X-moulinex” but changed to “Speedy Graphito” .

Emerging British artist, Guy Denning, does not describe himself as a graffiti or urban artist, though he does share the anti establishment attitudes of the urban art movement.
He is set to take London by storm with his solo show ‘Behemoth’ opening at St Martin in The Field in September 2010. He previously had a hugely successful show at Red Propeller Gallery, Devon (UK).
Working initially from screen-shots from a small section of the 1928 film La Passion de Jeanne d’Arc he has made over a hundred preliminary sketches. From these he has produced fifty larger finished drawings and from these drawings he has made this series of paintings which make up his solo show ‘Behemoth’.
Red Propeller presents Guy Denning’s solo show ‘Behemoth’ at:
The Crypt Gallery
St Martin in The Field,
Trafalgar Square,
London,
Private Preview – 7pm – 9pm – Thursday 2nd September 2010
